Provide a Project Engineering role for Electronics Test Engineering (ETE) products & services in support of electronics development programs. ETE provides support to a variety of products including analog and digital PWBs, electronic controllers, power conversion and power distribution equipment used in aircraft electrical power generating systems. Responsibilities include primary interface to Integrated Product Development (IPD) teams for purposes of defining comprehensive plans related to development and production test equipment and production test requirements. The Project Engineer works with Business Unit customers and ETE Functional Management to develop a Test Equipment Plan (TEP) that defines the Test Equipment manhours and material required to support product development, qualification, and production phases of the program. The individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schedules, defining and tracking budgets for all associated tasks, including support of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Will coordinate in-house staff as well as external suppliers to design and develop tests, and test equipment.
BS in Electrical Engineering minimum; Project Management Certificate (or equivalent), or MBA is preferred.
4 to 6 years experience in test engineering minimum; 2 to 4 years of Project Management experience.
