UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. In 2012, UTC Aerospace Systems was formed by combining two industry leaders, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich, creating an organization with key positions on a wide range of aircraft flying today and substantial content on various UAVs, satellites and ground and naval vehicles.
The 787 Platform organization is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the organizations Quality Data Analyst. The selected candidate will focus on the development of standard work in support of the planned deployment of the 787 quality data management system. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
¿Ability to review and report on quality data/trends related to 787 (sustaining and development programs)
¿Able to review 787 quality data and support the generation of management reports
¿As requested by management review and coordinate quality data reporting issue(s)s
¿Coordinate adding suppliers to Approved Vendor Listings
¿Support ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) activities as required.
¿Competency in charting for Supplier corrective actions and In Process & Final inspection
¿Skills required to coordinate issuing, tracking and follow up on internal CARS (Correction Action Requests)
BA/BS degree in business, engineering, operations, or quality/lean manufacturing
MBA degree preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 3 - 5+ years related experience required. Good written, verbal and computer skills required. Experience interfacing with suppliers and customer auditors preferred. Ideal candidate should have exposure to and proficient usage of Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Sharepoint.
