UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. Provide technical support to manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:
-Troubleshoot, repair and modify complex electronic commercial or military systems, electronic circuit cards, interface boards and peripherals to the component level.
-Test complex electronic commercial or military systems with the aid of written procedures or verbal instructions.
-Effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities.
-Read electronic schematics and blue prints.
-Set up and operate standard and non-standard electronic testing devices.
-Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes.
-Implements improvements under the supervision of an engineer or management team.
-Solder and desolder through hole and surface mount device components on printed circuit boards.
Associates degree in Electronics or related field required and minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
-Understanding of electrical circuits and avionics communication interfaces
-Experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment is highly desirable
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Strong problem solving skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
