United Technologies Aerospace Systems is an established aerospace manufacturer that seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for their Pressure Operations production line in Burnsville, Minnesota. This is a great opportunity offering competitive benefits and compensation.
The selected candidate will develop documentation and procedures in support of production process and requirements, work to continually improve quality and productivity for various products and processes, specify, justify, and install capital projects in support of production requirements, provide technical support for safety and ergonomics issues, and address technical problems varying in scope from moderate to difficult.
The products to be supported are highly complex electro-mechanical assemblies that provide air data information for various types of aircraft. The processes to be supported range from mechanical assembly to automated testing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
- BS degree in engineering field is required, 2-5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience is preferred.
- BSEE preferred
Being able to work well with diverse teams in terms of skill sets and backgrounds in a production environment is a requirement for this position. Experience with mechanical assembly, product testing, and sensor technology is preferred. Direct experience in the Aerospace or a similarly regulated industry is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting of digital circuits is desired for this role.
