UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. We design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. We are also a major supplier to international space programs.

In 2012, UTC Aerospace Systems was formed by combining two industry leaders, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich, creating an organization with key positions on a wide range of aircraft flying today and substantial content on various UAVs, satellites and ground and naval vehicles.


Lead a department responsible for the development and execution of commodity and supplier development strategies that support the strategic objectives of the Business Unit and Company. Management of department personnel to ensure the achievement of key goals in the areas of supplier performance, product cost reduction, management and execution of supplier agreements and monitor the compliance to those agreements. Work with Operational Procurement, Engineering and Program management to ensure the successful introduction of new programs and successful transfer of production requirements to new suppliers. Team with leadership from other Business Units to develop broad based commodity or supplier strategies


Bachelors degree Bachelors degree 5+ years minimum experience in supply chain/procurement leadership with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience in related activities in aerospace may be an acceptable substitute (e.g. Operations Mgmt, Program Mgmt, etc.) Demonstrated team building, leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated success in developing project plans and managing these projects through to successful execution, including overcoming obstacles. Experience with global activities, including sourcing and/or operations within different cultures and styles. 3+ years hands-on experience managing direct reports of up to 5+. Technical or manufacturing aptitude.
