The Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for preparation, submission, and maintenance of accurate documentation related to the shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations ¿ including any special documentation as required by regulatory or contractual obligations. The individual will also provide internal and external customer service for shipping / operational concerns and is responsible for proposal and implementation of continuous improvement within their scope of work.
Ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and regulatory compliance of domestic, international, and/or government shipments.
Validate warehouse inventory and analyze discrepancies to support inventory accuracy metrics.
Perform real-time, root cause analysis on logistics discrepancies to resolve internal and external customer concerns.
Interface with personnel at all levels and utilize continuous improvement tools to implement processes that meet internal and external customer needs
Process receiving documentation related to non-production materials as required for regulatory and/or certification requirements (NADCAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc).
Bachelors Degree and 3 years of work experience, in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work at a continuous pace as set by customer requirements
Articulate in written and verbal communications to customers at all levels, internal and external
Prioritization of multiple tasks to meet deadlines and support the management plan
Must be able to verify U.S. Person Status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations ITAR)
Supply Chain work experience, including planning, shipping/warehousing or logistics functions
Knowledge of inventory management procedures and/or controls
Knowledge of business software, including SAP ERP and the Microsoft Office suite
