Electronics Technician and General Maintenance

Position Overview: Safely repair and maintain CNC machinery, electronic equipment and associated components; perform installation and maintenance of plant electrical systems. Primary Responsibilities: Receive job assignment and/or special instructions from supervisor Maintain electronic equipment and associated components by performing appropriate diagnostic, trouble-shooting adjustment, repair, and preventive/predictive maintenance activities Install electronic and/or electrical equipment and associated components as directed by supervision Report apparent equipment problems/malfunctions to supervisor Order materials and parts required completing assignment(s) and reporting to supervisor Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly manner Clean-up and remove project-related debris or equipment from assigned areas utilizing tow motor, or hand truck as appropriate Attend training classes, department meetings and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent Capable of comprehending and understanding both verbal and written work instructions, technical documentation, and other support material as related to the execution of job duties/assignments Basic mathematical skills as needed to support calculations used in this type of work Must have minimum of five (5) years experience; or two (2) year post-secondary education in electronics trades and three (3) years experience, in a similar industrial environment which includes installation and trouble-shooting Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent Must be willing to work 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts Experience with CNC machine controls required; Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazcontrol preferred Physical Requirements: Wearing of all personal protective equipment as required. This position requires substantial physical activity such as, but not limited to, reaching, climbing, twisting, stooping, and lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights. Requires dexterity and coordination in the use of a wide variety of hand and power tools and equipment.
