In 2012, UTC Aerospace Systems was formed by combining two industry leaders, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich, creating an organization with key positions on a wide range of aircraft flying today and substantial content on various UAVs, satellites and ground and naval vehicles.

The UTC Aerospace Systems Co-operative Education Program is the cornerstone of the company's college recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent - our future executives! This program provides opportunities for short term work assignments for students pursuing degree programs directly related to UTC Aerospace Systems' core business. Cooperative Education is a joint effort between business and education that combines classroom theory with career-related work experience. Through co-op assignments, students alternate semesters of full-time study with semesters of full-time paid employment. Cooperative education is also designed to enhance a student's academic training, professional growth, and personal development. Co-op students must be enrolled and maintain a satisfactory academic standing in a formal Cooperative Education Program at their undergraduate institution.

Qualifications

UTC Aerospace Systems seeks students currently enrolled in degree programs directly related to our core business: ENGINEERING: Aerospace, Computer Systems, Electrical, Industrial, Material Science, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Software, and Systems * Pursuing a degree directly related to UTC Aerospace Systems' core business * 3.0 GPA minimum * Completion of 30 credit hours * Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Resident status
