Perform engineering analysis using existing software programs and equations. Analysis may include stress analysis, dynamics analysis and tolerance analysis of power transmission components in order to complete technical proposals to customers. Review customer, supplier and UTAS documents and specifications for compliance. Understand manufacturing processes to verify manufacturability of proposals. Assist engineering personnel with new product development. Create assembly and component level drawings for proposals and suppliers quotes. Engineering design work including analysis, modeling, drafting, etc. Engineering analysis corrections and improvements for excel/VBA based programs. New product development assistance.


College Student - Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or Mech. Engineering Tech) Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Knowledge of basic stress analysis and material design such as: tube shear, Factor of Safety, material properties and strength of materials Willing to approach other employees or managers for assistance Capable of handling multiple projects at once and changing priorities CAD and FEA experience is desired.
