UTC Aerospace Systems is currently seeking an Associate to work in our Finance group, experienced in the use of computer tools, and with an eagerness to learn new processes. Joining our diverse and highly accomplished Finance team, you'll work alongside some of the most exceptional professionals in the industry as you engage in complex and critical projects throughout their life cycle. Working in a fast-paced environment under the guidance of experienced Finance professionals with each assignment lasting between 8-12 weeks while on a one-year rotation program.

As an Associate, you will assist in the performance of routine and entry level duties of the functional departments such as Sourcing, Aftermarket, indirect/direct procurement, contracts, and/or Continuous Improvement. Uses conventional computer technology and analysis tools standard to the industry. May support and document reporting efforts and formal report writing. Develops solutions to routine problems of limited scope using standard work.

Assist in the preparation of direct procurement documentation packages.
Assist in the preparation and execution of negotiation strategies
Assist in the preparation of indirect procurement documentation packages.
Place discrete purchase orders and manage scheduling agreements.
Create Scheduling Agreements
Prepare and execute entire RFQ/purchasing cycle for a major tool, and capital equipment purchases.
Place and track purchase orders in support of aftermarket provisioning and customer orders.
Work shortage reports to ensure on time delivery of parts to assembly line.
Work Aerovantix issues with suppliers in support of on time in full delivery.
Participate in Executive Reviews with Material Providers.
Review procurement packages for compliance
Resolve quality notices in coordination with suppliers.
Lead Reviews with Material Providers and Approved Purchasers
Assist in the updating of procurement compliance guidelines and SPIs
Resolve Billing questions as appropriate.
Assist in the preparation of Government Reports.


Requires a Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management.
Ability to understand basic supply chain issues and develop solutions with scope of responsibilities. Must have strong technical aptitude.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong bias for action and initiative.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred skills:
- Prior internship experience within a professional environment.
- Prefer local candidates.
