Working in a team environment, sometimes with remote team members, engage in full life-cycle development (plan, design, verify, certify) of embedded software for control of electric power systems, typically done in C, and certified to aerospace standards (DO178b is typical, levels A to C)
BSEE/BSCS or equivalent is a minimum
Experience or knowledge in aerospace software development/verification is a plus
Knowledge of software architectures and the C coding language
Experience with real-time embedded operating systems is a plus
General experience with hardware design is a plus
Motor controls experience (AC, DC, etc) is a plus
Closed loop algorithm control experience is a plus
Experience with TI DSP families is a plus
Experience with Matlab is a plus
Understanding of quality software development processes is required is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
